Question about managing pt w rhabdomyalgia caused by statin???

Salam
Say that I have pt w high LDL on statin ,and then develops rhabdomyalgia and is now so reluctant to be on it especially when he read that it causes rhabdomyolysis ,,, What to do now ???
Shouldn't I put him on Ezetimibe for ex??
I mean ,is there any kind of guidelines to walk me through this kind of issue managing such pt???
