متلازمة الساق المتململة restless leg syndrome - متلازمة ايكبوم Ekbom :
شائعة تصيب 2% من السكان
تحدث احاسيس مزعجة بالساقين تحسن عند تحريكهما
قد يوجد قصة عائلية
قد تكون ضمن مرض اخر كالقصور الكلوي .
علاج : clonazepam-lefodopa

As a result of this stop start pattern the syndrome is often misdiagnosed or treated unsympathetically as psychosomatic.

Delusional parasitosis is also referred to as Ekbom's syndrome, named after a Swedish neurologist, Karl Axel Ekbom, who published seminal accounts of the disease in 1937 and 1938. Ekbom's syndrome should not be confused with Wittmaack-Ekbom syndrome, which is another name for restless legs syndrome.
