Fractures are causes of hypercalcimea or reasons from it?

how could fractures make hypercalcemia.....

6ayyeb wat is the drug that can cause hypercalcemia to a degree that requires cessation of the drug course ?

in general when treating paget's disease ( normal serum calcium ) we need to add calcium + vit D to prevent fx esp when using a biphosphonate

i am trying to say : paget is a bone disease with fractures but yet calcium level is normal and sometimes we need to add calcium

yes :how could fx lead to hypercalcemia = calcium is a bone strengther so it wont lead to fxz but yet

we cant state a constant rule between Ca2+ and Fx , some conditions may break the law , i mean its based on the situation

but that doesnt mean paget's normal calcium lead to fx

maybe a pt with malignancy induced hypercalcemia and say the pt got a fx by trauma or for ex old lady --- ulnar fx , it has no relation here

but again a pt had only osteoporosis or even asthmatic pt on corticosteroid ttt , so low calcium here ( osteoporosis ) or antivit D effect by corticosteroids is a risk factor for weak bone --- fx by causing defective mineralization of the bone

bottomline : BALANCE in calcium is the best , any deviation up or down depends on the process going in the backgroud
