HIV & AIDS
What makes the HIV virus so lethal and how does it multiply in the human body.

thanx
I just want to add something;
The genetic information of the HIV virus is RNA not DNA..
When the HIV cell is attached to the surface of the active T-cell , it inserts its RNA accompanied by RT(Reverse Transcriptase: An enzyme that uses a ssRNA as a template to make a DNA copy. This "DNA copy" is called "the complementary DNA =cDNA (since its complementary to the RNA template). Then the RNA of the DNA–RNA hybrid is degraded by the"RNase H", and the single cDNA strand is used as a template to make a double-stranded cDNA.
The double-stranded cDNA can become integrated into the active T-cell genome. After the integration the viral genes may be inactive or may be transcribed causing the "AIDS" infection.
Note:
ssRNA=single-stranded RNA
cDNA = complementary DNA
RNase H = Ribonuclease H
